Chrissy's 2020 TikTok Video
But this wasn't the only time Chrissy shared a video showing her and her husband's separate rooms.
Back in 2020, she posted a video that read "His and Hers Bedrooms."
It Started When Chrissy Was Sick
Chrissy admits they began sleeping in separate rooms because she got sick one year and had a very persistent cough.
"Because of my cough, one of us would end up sleeping on the couch or in the guest bedroom." And after it went away, they realized they liked sleeping in separate rooms.
Chrissy And Tom's Other Reasons
Chrissy said, "I need a dark room, and my husband sleeps better with natural light. I sleep on a firm bed, and he loves the pillow top."
"We had tried several mattresses over the years and could never find one we both loved. Not to mention his snoring and taking all the covers."
Their Sleep Improved
According to Chrissy, both her and her husband's sleep quality improved now that they sleep in separate beds.
"I am not cranky, and neither is he. We still cuddle in bed and watch TV, but when it is time to sleep, he will go to his bedroom to sleep." She said.
No Lack Of Quality Time
For Chrissy and Tom, it made sense. They spend most of their time together because they both work from home, travel, and see each other daily.
She said, "Sleeping in separate beds does not equate to a bad marriage. If anything, it improves it for us."
TikTok Commenters Joke Around
Many commenters joked around, saying things like "trying to get him to agree to living in separate cities," or "I like sleeping in separate houses."
While others said, they couldn't sleep without their partner beside them.
