These Guys Wrote A Letter To Their Neighbors Asking To Walk Their Dog And The Dog Gave A Heartwarming Response
Growing up with pets is a real gift. They offer a kind of friendship that you just don't get with other humans. They're loyal, fun, and always know when you need a little extra love.
Four boys recently moved into a new flat and all had hopes of getting a dog that was dashed by their landlord's no pet policy. They had all grown up having one as a family pet and missed that special companionship.
When The Boys Saw A Dog Watching Them From Across The Street, They Came Up With An Idea
They decided they wanted to be friends with this adorable dog and so they decided to write a letter offering their services as dog sitters, or dog walkers, or whatever else the pup might need.
Their Letter Was Funny And Respectful
They didn't want the note to seem too creepy so they were honest and explained that they simply missed having a pet and if they could try and fill that void by loving the dog across the street they'd be grateful.
It Didn't Take Long To Get A Response
The boys, who call themselves They Boys from Number 23, got a prompt response and as Jack McCrossan put it on Twitter, they could not have been happier or more surprised with the response.
They Got A Letter Back Which Was Addressed To The Boys
The best part of the note was the paw print on the back that the envelope was sealed with. It was clear that the boys had received a letter from exactly who they wanted to talk to.
The Dog From Across The Way Had Written The Back
Her name is Stevie Ticks and she expressed nothing but excitement at the prospect of having new friends. Stevie's parents were touched that their neighbors reached out, especially in a time when people don't put that kind of effort in anymore.

And it was just as wonderful as they had hoped. It's certainly the start of a life-long friendship. I don't know about you, but this is the type of content I like to see.
