Photographer Deletes Couple’s Wedding Photos In Front Of Them
One person is asking the internet if they went too far in how they reacted to an issue that came up when they were shooting their friend's wedding.
The situation is one where they may have gone too far. We'll let you decide for yourself.
Your Wedding Day
Everyone wants to be able to have stunning photos on their wedding day.
A wedding photographer is someone who can help capture those memories and have them live on for years to come!
Photographers Are Expensive
However, as is the case with many things surrounding weddings, photographers are expensive.
Some photographers can charge thousands of dollars to shoot a wedding, which can really drive up the cost of your special day.
The Friend, A Dog Photographer
One couple asked their friend to help out and shoot their wedding for them.
The friend, however, is not an actual photographer. They are a dog groomer who takes pictures of the dogs and posts them on social media. They agreed to shoot it for $250.
Long Hours, No Break Or Food
The photographer started at 11 a.m. on the day of the wedding and captured every moment.
When it came time for the reception, they were told that they were not allowed to stop to eat.
Just Wanted A Glass Of Water
The reception was in an old legion hall which did not have air conditioning and was very hot.
The friend and photographer for the day asked to have a 20-minute break to get something to eat and drink and recharge.
Pictures Were Deleted
The couple did not allow the photographer to have a break and told them to shoot the wedding or leave without pay.
It was at that moment that the photographer asked if they were serious, then deleted all the pictures they had taken that day and left.
Support For The Photographer
The comments came in by the thousands, with many people showing support for the photographer.
This person gave some more perspective as a photographer saying that it makes sense for the photographer to be given the opportunity to eat and have a break during the ceremony.
Why Wouldn't They Get A Meal
Another comment brought up the point that since the photographer was helping a friend, they should have been treated fairly by the couple.
When it comes down to it, which side are you on—the couple's or the photographer's?
