Ryann, a woman currently using dating apps, decided to share her strategy on TikTok. She began her video by saying that, in general, ladies know not to add a dating app match's name to the contact list until he has been around long enough.
She has developed a system designed to help him earn that contact add that she wants to share.
The "Bees" Method
The system that she has created and uses is called the "The Bees."
She uses the system for Bumble but says that it can be applied to any of the online dating apps.
They Get Three Bees
The way it works is that all of the Bumble matches she gives her number to get three bee emojis as their contact.
The three bees represent three potential dates that they will go on.
Three Dates Is A Long Time
In the online dating app world, Ryann says that three dates actually feel like a lot longer.
After each date, the match loses one of his bees in her phone. After they have gone on three dates, she will add his actual name as a contact.
How It Looks In Action
Ryann decided to show everyone her three bee method in action.
She has one man who she is talking to but he still has three bees because they have not gone on a date yet.
Down To Two Bees
Another man is down to two bees after their first date. She thinks that she might be getting ghosted by this man so he might always have two bees.
