Don't you just love having one or two really good facts to keep in the back of your mind to bust out when a conversation gets awkward or when you're trying to break the ice? They're a good thing to have, especially if you're kind of an awkward person or want people to think you're smart.

The best kind of facts are the ones that seem fake but are totally true...you know, like the fact that you'll totally find someone someday *insert eye roll emoji here*

This Is Actually Kind Of A Sad Fact

Apparently, there are more fake flamingos in the world than there are real flamingos, which is kind of a bummer. Either we need more flamingos or fewer plastic ones.

So it turns out that hippo milk is pink. Well, sort of. What happens is the secretes "Hipposudoric acid" which is reddish in color and it often mixes with the milk creating that pink hue.
