Proof That Pets Might Be Better Than Children
I know that people who have children love them and are happy to have them in their life, but there are those of us who aren't that crazy about having kids. Not right now, anyway.
Don't be fooled into thinking that we aren't living fulfilling lives though, because we totally are for lots of reasons like our jobs and social lives, but most importantly our pets.
Looks Like A Good Place To Nap
One of the reasons pets are better than kids because they do cute stuff like this. If your kid tried to nap in the cup holder of your car, you'd have a disaster.
They're So Fluffy
Not all of us are lucky enough to have little lambs for pets, but this person is getting the softest, nicest snuggles available. It's hit and miss if a child wants to snuggle like this.
What Good Manners
This good boy looks like he learned his manners well, something it takes kids a really long time to do...if they ever even get there. Let's be serious, we've all met rude little kids.
Still Waiting For Dad
This big kitty has been home with their dad every day for the last few months because he's been working from home. But that doesn't stop him from waiting at the door around 5 for dad to come home.
Maybe this is something a kid would do, too.
What Good Learners
Mom is being very strict about her "no talking" rule while she is on the phone. These good boys look like they're getting it. Can you bank on a toddler keeping that promise too?
Now That Is A Good Boy
Sarge looks like the sweetest boy. How could he not be if he's taking care of baby deer like that? Thank goodness animals are so good at taking care of one another.
They're Good Listeners
One thing we can all agree on is that kids don't always listen, no matter what age they are. Your pet will always listen, but they might not always be supportive of your bad life decisions.
That Smile Is Too Much
Pets can be sassy, especially if you have cats, but they're pretty much always in a good mood. Not getting up on the wrong side of the bed like a small human might for no reason.
They're Ready
Anyone who has kids or family members with kids knows that there is always going to be one that will ruin every family picture. This kitty is ready for their close-up.
Look At These Gerbils Appreciating Art
I'm not saying that kids don't appreciate art, they might...someday, anyway. But what I am saying is that these gerbils get it without making a scene in the middle of the museum.
Happy Birthday To You
OK, so maybe one thing kids and pets have in common is that they seem to love celebrating their birthday. So maybe they aren't all that different across the board.
What A Cutie
I might be biased in thinking this, but I think that Snapchat filters look way cuter on pets than kids. That may not seem like a big deal, but trust me, it is.
Pets Always Worry About You
Kids don't really worry much about what is going on with their parents, not until they get older, anyway. But pets will worry about you always, like this dog who is trying to make their owner's shower more bearable.
That Looks So Cozy
One of the best things about pets? They don't argue with you when it's bedtime. In fact, they love napping, especially cats. Tuck them in once and they're staying put for the rest of the day.
Who Would Have Thought?
OK...I'm just going to say it. Pets are cuter than children. Listen, I know we are supposed to think babies are adorable, but are they really? I mean look at this cat and tell me he isn't as cute as a newborn.
What A Polite Hamster
This little guy knows that, right now, their human wants some space, so they're going to give it to them and just sit nicely on the couch. When was the last time a kid did that?
Those Are Big Stretches
Everyone wants to see a dog, always. But kids, that can be kind of weird. If a kid bursts into your room, it's a whole thing, but when a dog does it, it's the best day ever.
Just Spending Some Quality Time Together
When kids get older, they don't want to hang out with their parents, and that's kind of a bummer. A pet will always want to be by your side, especially if you got them a cute bed.
That Must Be So Warm
Pets are content to do nothing, and that's really amazing. You can pretty much leave them to their own devices all day and not have to worry. Can you say the same about a kid?
Dinnertime Is The Best Time
Pets are easy to please when it comes to food, especially dogs. Has a dog ever met a snack it didn't want to eat? No picky eaters here. What a relief.
