Callum Flanagan Has Been Single Far Too Long
For the past six years, Callum Flanagan has remained single. And it's not by choice.
According to him, his good looks are the reason for his lack of a dating life.
Who Is Callum?
Callum is a 32-year-old math teacher in Windsor, England. And when he matches with someone on Tinder, they always seem to ask him the same question.
"I'm quite often asked if I'm real." He says.
"It's Indicative Of What Women Expect From Guys"
He continues, "Which probably sounds a bit arrogant, but I think it's more indicative of what the majority of women expect from guys these days."
And what is it that Callum thinks women expect from guys?
Good Looks? Check! Good Job? Check! Respects Women? Check!
Callum believes women think he's completely lying about who he is.
"If you're a good-looking guy who's well groomed, you've got a good job, you're confident but respectful. I think that can sometimes raise an eyebrow like, 'what's the catch here?'"
Is He Real Or A Catfish?
Callum says, "Lots of women think you're straight up lying. Sometimes I'm accused of being a catfish who's stolen someone else's pictures."
To be fair, that is a popular trend, many people get catfished these days. So when a good catch like Callum comes up, it's easy to understand the caution.

Callum says he can understand if he seems self-centered on Tinder - all of his photos are of him working out or shirtless on the beach.
And another reason women might see catfish warning flags is because he doesn't have a bio because he finds them "cringey."
Callum's Interests
Callum loves teaching but it can be draining because of the long hours.
So he prioritizes time for himself to hit the gym, follow a skin care routine, eat healthy and focus on his interests like fashion and finance.
Callum's Still Hopeful
At first all the rejection got to Callum and he began to resent dating apps; but then he realized, "they're reflective of a changing world. We bank online, we shop online, why shouldn't we date online?"
So Callum handles rejection better now, and is confident that one day he will find "The One."
