Woman Captures Man’s Delusional Rant About How She Needs To Sleep With Him Because They Met On Tinder
A lot of us have used Tinder at one point or another, and the site has become pretty infamous. We hear about people who meet their forever person there, but that story always seems to happen to a friend of a friend—an urban legend (jk I met my partner on Tinder and we've been together for years)—but that doesn't change the fact that there is this stigma around Tinder and that is that it for hookups.
Now, Let's Be Clear About Something
Just because you match with someone on Tinder, it should not and does not mean that you have to hook up with them.
You don't owe anyone anything, your body, your time, your energy—nothing.
And Yet, The Number Of People Who Don't Know This Is Shocking
A woman posted a video of an encounter she had with a man back in November who had the audacity to assume that she was going to sleep with him because they matched on Tinder.
I mean, it's shocking to hear, I know, but I'm sure it's happened to a lot of the people who read this article.
Not Only That, He Thought He Could Lecture Her On It
Yeah, you read that right. He gave her a whole lecture on how she didn't understand how online dating works, and that she basically owes him because that's how this works.
He is so worked up, he's literally standing in front of her yelling like an angry dad whose kid just broke something and lied about it. His point was that he's not the only one who thinks this way, and that is probably true. He's saying that she needs to do a better job of offering what they're expecting when they meet up if they matched on Tinder.
He Thought He Was Doing Her A Favor
He mansplained to her that he was only doing this for her own good, that he just wanted her to know. When she sarcastically said "I'm learning a lot," he didn't pick up on the sarcasm at all and felt actually good about himself.
Can you believe that? The fact that he was that arrogant is outstanding. When she told him that he needed more upfront about putting in his profile that he was only there for hookups, he said he can't because then he will get no Tinder matches... You would think he'd clue in, but no.
Here's The Video:
As you can see, the man is very combative, and truthfully really scary. A lot of people asked if she made it out of there safely, and she assured everyone that she had called an Uber shortly after this video was filmed.
Thank goodness for that. Let's hope that this guy will serve as a cautionary tale for the other men on Tinder not to assume that they are entitled to anything.
