Kersten was looking forward to a date she was about to go on.
Things were looking good as her date texted her when he was at her house and picked her up on time!
He Sent Her A Text
After that is when things started to get weird.
Kersten then shows us a message she received from him that says she is bigger than he thought but her family is loaded.
She Wasn't Impressed
This caught her off guard and she was not very impressed by it.
She texted him back saying that she is going to be praying for him. So why did this all happen?
The Update
Her video of the text exchange went viral on TikTok.
The video was viewed more than 6 million times. There were also more than 5,000 comments from people wanting to know what the backstory was.
Text Came Early Into The Date
Kersten did end up sharing the full story for everyone who was curious in an update video.
She said that the text message came just 10 minutes into the date when they were still driving to their destination.

Kersten read the message, looked over at him, and asked if he meant to send that to her.
He said no, it was a message that he meant to send to his friend. Very awkward!
Turn The Car Around
Right away, Kersten told him to turn the car around and take her home.
She then told him that he was immature and shallow, and those were the reasons that he was still single.
An Awkward Drive Home
The two of them then sat in silence for the 10 minutes that it took him to bring her back home.
She says that she is happy in her body and his opinion did not change the way she views herself.
