Woman Gets Back At Cheating Ex By Reading His Apology Text With A ‘Sad Violin’
If your ex has ever confessed that they cheated on you, you've probably daydreamed of the ways you wanted to get sweet revenge. While actual violence is off the table, some people will go to the pettiest lengths imaginable to get back at their ex.
If you've ever dreamt of a tiny violin playing in the background while your ex divulged why they cheated, then dream no further. One woman on TikTok actually did it, and the video has gone viral.
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
So you've just learned the heartbreaking truth: your significant other is a lying and cheating jerk. While they spill their guts to you about why they cheated and how it wasn't actually their fault, you think to yourself how you wish you could play a tiny violin to accompany their BS apology.
When one woman learned that her boyfriend had cheated on her, she didn't just imagine playing the violin, but she actually hired a violinist.
The TikTok
Jax, also known as @jaxwritessongs on TikTok, is a woman who likes to "write songs and tell dad jokes." She recently went viral for the over-the-top and brilliant manner she clapped back against her cheating boyfriend, and the video has received nearly 5 million views and over 700,000 likes.
Jax begins her TikTok by saying, "Adding sad violins to my ex's bulls**t apology text."
Cue The Violins
As Jax begins reading the "apology" text her cheating ex sent her, she is accompanied musically by world-famous violinist Lindsey Stirling. Together, the duo recounts the apology text Jax's ex sent her which explains why he cheated and that he's remorseful. It's taking petty to a whole new level.
"Hey, I know you're probably never going to forgive me for what happened, but I wanted a chance to explain."
I'm Sorry I Boinked Your Roommate
"I know it wasn't right that I technically hooked up with your roommate, but I've been going through a lot, and that's not who I am," she reads. "I've been failing most of my classes and you know I just got fired!"
As Jax emotionally reads the apology text, Lindsey dramatically plays her violin in the background, occasionally reacting with comical expressions of surprise and despair.
Excuses, Excuses
Jax continues reading through the text message saying, "So, I would really appreciate if you showed me some sort of sympathy and stop making me feel like a villain. Plus, you've been really busy at work and I've been feeling really alone."
Yep, definitely knew that excuse was coming.
"A One-Time Mistake"
The ex-boyfriend then explains his reasoning for cheating on Jax, claiming that the affair happened because he really missed her and said it was a "one-time mistake."
The ladies reach their musical crescendo and together sing one of the final lines of the apology text in beautiful harmony, "I love you so much more than Emily...What am I supposed to tell my family?"
By The Way...
Near the final part of her ex-boyfriend's text, he apologizes and tells Jax that he's sorry. But, that's not quite where our story ends. If he earned himself any redemption with his apology text, he absolutely tossed it out the window with his final message to Jax.
"Also, did you change the Netflix password?"
Gift Ideas
In case you need to buy your cheating ex-boyfriend or girlfriend a gift anytime soon, may I suggest this idea offered by Jax?
