Woman Shares The One Question She Always Asks All Of Her Tinder Matches
Recently, one woman shared her online dating hack with the world. Instead of starting the conversation off slowly, Chloe explains that she sends all of her matches the exact same question: "Why aren't we dating yet?"
And although this question may scare some people off, she shared some of the responses, and it's safe to say that most of these guys thought that the question was hilarious and fitting.
Online Dating Conversations Can Be Awkward...
Conversations with matches on dating apps can feel super repetitive and boring at times.
Not to mention, starting the conversation can also be a bit of a puzzle at times. It's like "do I go with the classic 'hey' or do I spice it up a little bit with the 'hey sexy, what's up?'"
So Why Not Just Cut To The Chase?
Instead of opening with the same dull greeting and sending messages on and off for days, why not just cut to the chase and ask your matches a forward yet risky question?
Even though it can be daunting to try something new, Chloe here seems to have it all figured out...
Chloe's Video Went Viral
In a TikTok video that has been viewed nearly 300,000 times, TikTok user @burn4chlo shared a clip of her asking multiple Tinder guys the same question.
Instead of sending a version of the typical online dating greeting, Chloe opened with a forward, yet charming "Why aren't we dating yet?"
Spoiler Alert: The Guys Really Enjoyed It
It seems like all of the guys were huge fans of the question, as all of the responses to her big question were incredibly positive.
Maybe I'll have to try this the next time I decide to go on a Tinder binge...
Sam Knows Whats Up
Not only is it a solid conversation opener about what kind of dates you could go on, it'll also (hopefully) weed out all of the guys who are just looking for a hookup.
People thought that her cheeky method was a great idea to also find the people who like to joke around. Like Sam, who thought it was time to launch a full-on investigation to solve the issue at hand.
Too Forward? Not For Zach At Least
Some of the men, such as Zach here, decided to keep things short and sweet.
Of course, that meant he chose to immediately profess his undying, strong love for Chloe.
I Like How You Think, Ryan
The inherent purpose of a dating app is to meet people that you wouldn't be likely to meet on a day-to-day basis.
So, Ryan's response is witty, yet also rings true on so many levels.
Watch The Video Here
If you're interested in watching the whole video, you can watch it above. And although we included a couple of the guys' responses, we didn't include all of them.
So, if you're curious, pause the video when she shows the responses to see if you can get a sneak peek at some of the others.
Everyone Loved The Video
Like Annie, lots of people in the comments vowed to try the trick on their go-to dating app. Others shared that this magical question really does work out there in the wild.
And people like Ashley may have cracked the code—because at the end of the day, we're all just waiting for someone to make the first move.
And Everyone Loved Sam
Even though the comments were filled with people telling her which guys they thought "won," an overwhelming number of people LOVED Sam's response.
He was the one who told her that he would "launch an investigation" and "have his people contact her people." All I can say is that I hope these two eventually get to go on that date.
